Dixie is almost 15 hands. I am 5'10 so I look big on her. Dixie is a great riding horse. She is very responsive to her rider and does what is asked of her. She can be ridden on trails with or without other horses, and she can be ridden on the side of the road without being scared of cars. She would make a great endurance horse. I was training her for a race in the winter when it snowed the weekend of the race, so we did not make it. She would be very competitive as an endurance horse. I have put many riding miles on her. She can go and go and never seems to get too tired to keep going. She is fairly quiet but will do better with someone who is not a beginner. She has a great slow canter. She can go western or english but does not neck rein. I want her to go to a home that will give her lots of attention. I will consider delivering her for free within about 100 miles, and I will consider giving 5 free riding lessons at my place on her to make sure that she is the horse for you.
