Very pretty 15.2hh 5 yr. old APHA bay tobiano mare sadly for sale. Jumps 3', Intro level dressage, started on cross country. Happy jumper, quick but controllable. She's very decent to work with, takes shots, braiding, pulling, trimming, farrier work, bathing, wears a slinky, blankets, stands tied forever, is nice to feed (doesn't attack or bare teeth), can ride with her eyes covered, backs, pivots on front and hind, sidepasses, starting to half-pass, neck reins and direct reins, responds to leg cues, trail rides, cattle drives, open gates off her, broke to drive (as a two year old, we haven't had anything behind her besides the kids on a sled or in a wagon lately), rides double, rides bareback and with just a halter. Used to tractors, kids, dogs, cats, chainsaws, air-nailers, air compresssors, walks over tarps, bridges, poles, etc. Takes fly spray and tolerates her head being washed. Won SESDHSA In-Hand Trail 2001 as a yearling, usually places well in Hunter-Hack in local shows. Very quick, potential for a games horse. Mare also used as trail horse, family horse (no beginners, please). She tries to please, and is a very willing student, also very forgiving. Husband says she must go since we're not close enough to go to horse trials and she should be an eventer.... Trainer says she could be very good at dressage, just needs more work getting off forehand and balance. Due to an injury to my knee, I can't ride english anymore. I have raised this mare myself and it breaks my heart to sell her, but she's not happy trying to fit in with the "hunter-types," and I don't want to make her miserable.
