He has been very dominant over my ponies lately so I am anxious to get rid of him. If good home with experience...make an offer.
This picture was taken in May, 2005 so he has bulked up alot since then. As a Mother's Day present, my husband bought my "dream horse" in May, 2005. He paid $1500.00. The horse is a flashy sorrel and white paint with a black forelock and white mane and tail. Previous owner relocated and had "started training him for barrels." He was green broke and I was 8 months pregnant. What a combo!!. My family members tried to ride him as much as they could. As of July, 2006: Gelding needs to be confined in a small area to saddle up (because he scoots his rear end when he sees a saddle) and walked to open field. I lounge him with a saddle on and off. He WAS leary of noise and sudden movements when we got him, but I have 4 kids (10 and under) so as of date sudden noises and movements don't faze him much. He does not kick or bite. Bucked slightly once when someone got in the saddle. Brought down quickly without incident to experienced rider. He is quick and beautiful. He does need someone who can give him personal attention every day to get him to his "peak performance." I do not have the time or the experience for that matter.
If you are looking for a fast horse that can turn on a dime, he's it!!
He's too much for me. I'm looking for a family horse.
